Our Advisor Doug Scott on Branded Content via Content Magazine

Mr. Scott, one of Learned Media’s talented advisors, does it again, wowing us with his knowledge of content and branding in his latest Content Magazine interview. Scott of Ogilvy & Mather discusses branded content and what the steps are to improving marketing technique. He believes that a big problem brand’s are doing nowadays is pushing the product as the main focus. What they should be doing is bringing customers a story behind the product and giving it an identity.

By creating this product storyline, Scott believes customers can connect better with the item. After identifying the history and story, there is a solid foundation to brainstorm creative ideas for the brand. All we can say is that we’re lucky the expert on branded content is a part of the Learned Media advisory team.
